Dear All DRAKE cousins,
I have been reading and waiting for my DRAKE family to come up but I am sure someone out there is related. Thanks for the information posted recently concerning land ect about DRAKES. I did see my DRAKE listed there. Here's what I have:
Lazarus DRAKE married Sarah HINES prob abt 1746 Nottaway or Albemarle Par.
VA. Their children were Jesse, Ann, David, William, Hines, Elizabeth, Sally and Drury. The children were said to be born in VA but most moved to Old Sparta Section, Edgecombe Co, NC. Lazarus' will was probated there.
Lazarus' father was Thomas of Southampton Co, VA or Isle of Wight who married Ann Griffin or Griffith. Does ANYONE know of my Thomas and Ann? I need help. I heard from a cousin named Linda who said she had this line and much on the Griffins but her email address would not work and I have lost her. Thankyou for any help you may be able to offer.
