According to information from the book, "THE WINFREY FAMILY", by James C. Winfrey, William J. Drake, born Aug 27, 1815, was the son of Elizabeth Thomas and Thomas B. Drake of Adair Co., KY. William J. married Nancy T. Busby, born Feb 24, 1815, d/o Matthew Busby and Seluda Tinsley of Adair Co, on Jan 17, 1839 in Adair Co, KY. William and Nancy migrated to TX with other Busby family members around 1849 and died there, William on Aug 21, 1866 and Nancy on Jan 11, 1899. Both William J. Drake and Nancy T. Busby Drake are buried in Freestone Co, TX at Cotton Gin Cemetery. Source is the Roster of Cotton Gin Cemetery.
