Well, I've been lurking as a newcomer and reading the posts, but here goes: I have a Maria DRAKE Stewart who married Thomas LATTA abt 1848 in maybe Allegheny Co, Pa. It is from her middle name that I joined this list, a long shot to be sure, hoping to find a possible connection. Family history tells of a DRAKE connection, but that is all I have to go on! Wish I had more to contribute,
and so if you don't mind I'll just continue to lurk. I have data on this Latta family backwards a couple of generations and forwards to present.
