DRAKE This obituary appeared in the local paper for Gordon Clarke Drake. He was born May 12, 1905 in Charlottetown and died April 12, 1958 in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Regina man dies at 53

Funeral service for Gordon Clarke Drake, 53 of 3029 Kings Road, was held recently at Lakeview United Church, and burial was in Riverside Memorial Park. Mr. Drake had been parts manager for the John Deere Plow Co., Ltd. Born at Summerside, P.E.I., he was educated at Strasbourg and Saskatoon. In 1924 he commenced employment with the John Deere firm in Saskatoon, transferring to the Regina office in 1933 as parts manager. An ardent member of the Amateur Radio association, he took an active part in the home defence signal corps during the Second World War. Surviving are his wife, Margaret; a son, Earl, Karachi, Pakistan; a daughter, Mrs. Morley White, 1751 Royal street; a brother, Harry, Aldergrove, B.C., and three grandchildren.
