Hi Roy
This is an article that was written for the Hendersonville North Carolina Historic Society, about the "Drake Sisters" who sang professionally during the 1930'-1940"s. Barb at "Drakeville" suggested that I send this to you as you may be interested in it. One of the Drake Sisters was my Mother Doris Drake. We, through DNA testing have been proven to be from the Isle of Wight Drakes, that migrated to North Carolina. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me. Thank you
