Samuel Drake who was born December 1, 1805 in Dartmouth, Devonshire England, and died May 10, 1880 in Lot49, Pownal P.E.I.. He married Prudence Wood December 11, 1828 in St Paul's Cathedral, Charlottetown, P.E.I., daughter of William Wood and Catherine Wisner.
