The following note was picked up in a bottle at Fullerton Cove Bay, about 9 miles from Newcastle, by Garnet Sansom, of Tolimba, Williamtown - 'Whittingham - 22/1/1927. This bottle was thrown into the Hunter River at Whittingham, by Maggie Shepherd. It is raining heavily and the river is rising fast. Will the finder please return this to the Singleton Argus.
