Date: Tuesday, May 30, 2006 Hi Roy, I think we have corresponded before, years ago. I start my Drakes with Thomas Drake born abt 1704, of Chesselbourne, Dorset. (IGI) He married Ann White 1729, at Chesselbourne. Their children: Daniel bn 1732, Binghams Melcomb (Melcombs Horsey), Dorset, married Elizabeth (Betty) Jeanes, and possibly Susannah Hicks. Daniel and Elizabeth are my line. Joshua bn 1733-1733, Chesselbourne Thomas bn 1738, Melcomb Horsey died before 1740 Thomas bn 1840, Melcombe Horsey, died before 1744 Joshua bn 1740, Chesselbourne, married Sarah Adams, 1764, Dewlish, Dorset Thomas bn 1744, Chesselbourne. George bn 1745, Chesselbourne died prior to 1750 Dinah bn 1749, Melcombes Horsey George bn 1750, Melcombe Horsey Charles bn 1756, Melcombes Horsey This is the futherest back I go. Any bells? I can find nothing prior to Thomas and Ann nee White. Cheers Margot |
