The name is probably "Jesse". (No date of filing attatched) (Some of left edge was cut off. Some were obvious, others not.) In the name of God, amen. I Jordan Drake of Warren County, in the state of Ohio, beint weak in body, but sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, considering the certainity of death, and the uncertainty of the ?ine thereof, and being desious to settle my worldly affairs, and thereby be beter prepared to leave this world when it shall please God, to call me hence, do therefore make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following; that is to say. First and principally, I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God, and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my family and after my funeral charges and debts are paid, I devise and Bequeath as follows: I give and bequeth unto my wife all my personal property which I possess and likewise a comfortable living and support of the plantation during her natural life, and after her death, the said personal property to be sold and divided equally among my children share and share alike, to have, and to hold the same; to them, their heirs, and assigns for ever. And the share so as above given and devised to my said wife, to be in lieu of her dower, in my real estate. Item--I give and devise unto John Wesley Drake , my son, my plan tation whereon I now dwell, lying contiguous to what is called Olive branch meeting house, containing one hundred acres more or less to him the said John Wesley Drake and his heirs and assigns in fee simple. Last I constitute and appoint Jepe Drake and John Wesley Drake my sons executors of this my last will and testament.
