MR G M Taylor - death

The death of Mr George Milton Taylor last Wednesday morning at his residence, Kelso Street, came as a great shock to his family and friends. Mr Taylor was born in Wickham, Newcastle, 58 years ago, the son of the late Mr and Mrs H Taylor. As a young man he studied for the Ministry, but illness forced him to give this up. He came to Singleton more than 20 years ago, and for the last few years his health had been thought to be steadily improving. The late Mr Taylor is survived by his wife Mrs Constance Taylor, and son, John Milton. Five Sisters and One Brother also survive him. They are Mavis ( Mrs Connolly, Wyong ), Belle ( Mrs Saunders, Newcastle ), Hazel ( Mrs Dires, Lemington ), Elsie ( Mrs Murphy, Singleton ), Connie ( Mrs Edman, Newcastle ), Alice ( Mrs Taylor, Maitland ), Noel and Gordon ( Sydney ),. Through impeded by his illness, Mr taylor was always cheerful and was highly respected in the town. The Funeral took place to Beresfield Crematorium last Thursday afternoon after a service at All Saints at 1.30. Canon W Holmes conducted the Church service and the Rev W Turvey officiated at the Crematorium. Messrs. H J Bartrop and Son made the Funeral arrangements.
