OBITUARY
A keen worker for St Luke's Church, South Singleton, and a lady who held the
highest regard of all who knew her, Mrs Matilda Taylor passed away at her
home in Kelso Street yesterday, after a long illness.
She was 79 years of age.
The late Mrs Taylor whose Husband, Mr Henry Taylor passed away two years ago,
is survived by three Sons and six Daughters. They are George and Gordon
Taylor ( Singleton ), Noel Taylor ( Sydney ), Isobel ( Mrs Saunders,
Newcastle ), Mavis ( Mrs Conley, Singleton ), Hazel ( Mrs A C Dries,
Leamington ), Alice ( Mrs A C Taylor, Singleton ), Elsie ( Mrs J E Murphy,
Singleton ), Esma ( Mrs V Edmunds, Adamstown ).
A private Family service was held at the late Mrs Matilda Taylor's residence
last night. After a service at All Saints Church today, the last rites were
performed at Whittingham Cemetery, where she was laid to rest beside her
husband.
Messrs. H J Bartrop and Son made the arrangements.
