The death took place at Brentwood Hospital, Muswellbrook, of Mr J H Taylor ( John Henry ), an old and highly - respected resident of Aberdeen, at the age of 87 years. Deceased had at one time resided in the Jerry's Plains district, and for the past 40 years has resided in Aberdeen. He had followed Farming until 10 years ago. He was pre - deceased by his wife and two daughters ( Elizabeth and Maud, ) Surviving Sons and Daughters are Cecil ( Singleton ), Frank ( Aberdeen ), Mesdames J Neasbey and H Wright ( Sydney ), S Morgan ( Bulli ), R Ekert and A Mead ( West Maitland ), L Harrison ( Aberdeen ), and Miss Gertrude Taylor ( Sydney ). Deceased also leaves one Brother, who resides in Singleton.
