Have you run across Mary Elizabeth Ann Drake Milton, born, approximately in 1866 and married to George Henry Briffett, 27 Feb 1887, Holy Trinity Church, Bridgwater, Somerset. Mary Elizabeth died 11 Aug 1930, Cardiff, Wales. Her parents were John J. Pope Milton and Elizabeth Drake. She had lived in Stockport, Cheshire. George & Mary Elizabeth had a family of 9 children and raised the family in Bridgwater. Offspring of the family felt that the Drakes were related to Sit Frances Drake, not necessarily uncommon with a surname of Drake.
