Samuel A. Drake b. abt 1800 in Somerset Co. New Jersey, m. in 1828 in 
Somerset Co., New Jersey, Mary Ann Compton.  He has a son, Joseph C., born 
abt 1834 I think is probably my Joseph Cullen Drake, b. Monmouth Co., NJ.  
Samuel A. Drake lived for a long time in Somerset but is in Monmouth Co with 
his daughter Susan Drake White in his old age.
I would appreciate any info anyone can add on this family.
Joseph Cullen Drale worked as a stone mason in Macoupin Co., Illinois.  In 
the 1850 census, Joseph C. and Samuel A. live next door to a stone mason in 
Bernards Township and are listed as laborers.
