I am doing research on David Drake, who was born in Sussex County, New Jersey and , I believe his wife, Temperance, also born in U.S. In the 1851 census in Ontario, Canada, township of South Dumphries, he was listed as age 77, she age 73. He was a farmer, and both Baptists. They were the parents of Charles Drake and Catherine Misener, Charles being born October 13, 1807, Catherine born February 14, 1820. Charles and Catherine were both born in Ontario, and are the parents of Melissa, 1851-1946, who was my grandmother. I am trying to link David back to England and the relationship to Sir Frances.
