I enjoyed your site and would like my DRAKE family from Mason County KY be added. Hopefully the allied families will help some DRAKE researchers connect. I am seeking to find the ancestors of Abraham DRAKE.

Abraham DRAKE b 1751 NJ died 23 Dec 1805 aged 54 years and Desire (?)
DRAKE b 1753 died 30 Jan 1812 aged 59 years (dates are taken from
tombstone inscriptions in May's Lick Cemetery.

Daughter Osee DRAKE b NJ 21 Dec 1785 d Mason Co KY June 1906 aged 21
years 6 months and 28 days, married 08 Dec 1803 to Robert TAYLOR II of
Maysville, Washington, Mason Co KY. Robert was the son of Robert TAYLOR
Sr b 1749 Ireland and Sarah (Jane DOWNEY b 1756 MD.

Issue (2) of Osee and Robert TAYLOR

1) John A TAYLOR b ca 1804 d 04 Apr 1871 Maysville, Mason Co KY. Married
on 08 Sept 1828 Ann Elizabeth REID, dau of Judge Walker REID b 19 Feb
1783 VA d 21 Jun 1852 KY and Ann TEBBS b 05 Oct 1787, dau of William and
Mary TEBBS.

2) Robert TAYLOR Jr b 04 Mar 1806 d 02 Sep 1829 married on 07 May 1829
Elizabeth FORMAN b 25 Dec 1809 d 1892, dau of Ezekiel FORMAN of NJ (son
of Ezekiel & Elizabeth SEABROOKE) and Dolly WOOD b 14 Dec 1786 Mason Co
KY.

Robert TAYLOR Sr married second after Osee's DRAKES death and had two
issue with Sarah "Sallie" DeWEES, granddaughter of Judge John COBURN of
Mason & Fleming Co KY.

3) Dr. James TAYLOR
4) Jane TAYLOR b 03 Mar 1823 married 22 Nov 1854, Charles MARSHALL b 03
Jan 1825 Fleming Co KY, son of Martin P MARSHALL of Fleming Co KY.

One of Robert TAYLOR Jr brothers, John TAYLOR married on 12 Sep 1797
Phoebe DRAKE a sister of Osee's.

November 2nd 1825

"....Robert TAYLOR and Robert POGUE of Mason Co KY owned land in Mason
County on Lee Creek, which was sold to William WADDELL 208 acres.....

at the end of this deed the following is found;

"We, William V DRAKE, Larkin A SANDIDGE and Eliza Ann his wife, late
DRAKE; John Drake TAYLOR and Robert TAYLOR Jr....heirs at law of Ruene
DRAKE, Osee TAYLOR, Phoebe TAYLOR and Elsea DRAKE, all deceased, and
heirs at law of Abraham DRAKE, deceased, claiming title in equity to
one-third part of said land conveyed to William WADDELL by Robert TAYLOR
and Robert POGUE, release our interest, title and claim in said land."

Estate of Abraham DRAKE, deceased. Kesiah DRAKE and Robert TAYLOR admrs.
Ruene DRAKE, Samuel SMITH, Basil DUKE and David DAVIS, sureties in sum
