James Drake born 1.3.1831 Dumfries, son of John Drake b20.10.1801
believed to have married Agnes Watt and lived on the Isle of Wight a
boatbuilder, moved to Dumfries or Grangemouth Scotland to help son who
was also a boat builder.
To New Zealand about 1860 married Elizabeth Walton Latham 1862 ex
Burnley,Lancs.
