Date: Tuesday, 1 September 1998 12:46 Hi - this will update George Lovelace in Essex Co NJ I have found my John (orJonathan) Lovelace/Loveless and wife Sarah/Sally Drake in Forrestburgh, Sullivan County, New York census for both 1850 and 1860. Children Alfred B, Emily Jane, George (my line), Hannah, Sarah, Mary, Rebecca and Harriett match information in George's family bible. According to book by Maurice L Patterson, Sarah is daughter of Zephaniah and Rebecca Shons Drake. Zephaniah is son of Zephaniah and Anna Knapp Drake and Zephaniah Sr. is sonof Jan (John) and Magdalena Brower. From what I have read this is the line that had the controvercy over the New York land. I would love more information on any Drake families in the Orange/Sullivan County New York area. Thanks for a great web site Doris
