He was born Feb. 15 1830 in Cumberland Gap Kentucky , and died Feb. 23 1917 . He was a Civil War vet. and lived in Nebraska at the time of his Death. The information I am missing now is what unit and where he served during the Civil War . I'm also looking for information about James Minter Drake and Jane Childers Drake , James Patterson Drakes Father and Mother, I think that they were born in England and moved to Buncombe County in North Carolina , But we do not know if this is true.
