Date: Thursday, 13 May 1999 7:06 Hello I have a Drake inquiry Searching for info in the Rev. Thomas Drake of Whatcote, Warwickshire. He was rector of the parish of Whatcote in the 1730's and 1740's. Apparently went to Cambridge c. 1700 married Margaret Chowne in Northants in 1711 where he became vicar at Bozeat thru 1729. At that point he appears to have been asigned to Whatcote, Warks. He was shown in the Cambridge records to be "of Rutland" Daughter Mary DRAKE m. Richard BLAKEMAN at Barcheston by license 11 June 1739. 1748/9. Thanks, Francis Walter Scott
