Date: Sunday, 28 February 1999 2:19 I am looking for any info on my mother's grandfather Walter Mead Drake. He married E. Hardis in the Dover, Tenn.area. He was reported to have been a riverboat captain on the Cumberland river in the 1880-1900 time frame. It maybe possible he resided in Dyersberg, Tenn. in his younger days. We have not found any information on record as of yet in Dover or the net. Your help would make my eighty year old mother very happy she would like to visit his final resting place.
