Samuel DRAKE, father of Josiah b Fairfield Fairfield CT USA, father of Francis DRAKE b 1753 Eastchester NY USA (father noted as Josiah / poss.Joseph, not proven) shoemaker by trade ( Rev. War, served Delancey's Third Loyalist Brigade 1777 - 1782. At end of war removed to Burton, Sunbury Co, NB ) Prince William, York Co., NB. married Catherine TOBIAS (b c 1760) and died 28 Feb 1836 Prince William NB Canada. With wife Catherine TOBIAS had 11 children: Mary, Joseph T., William Hubbell, James, Hannah, Sarah Ann, Phoebe, Catherine, Francis, Jane Ann, and Warren. Died 27 Jan 1835, age 82, buried in Day Hill Cemetery near where he lived on the St. John River. Warren B DRAKE b 1797 Queensbury NB Canada married Mary PARLE in 1823 York Co NB and died 22 May 1870 Lyndon Aroostook ME USA.................
