I obtained some information about Francis Drake posted by Carolyn C. Marvin, and sent her some info. This is what I have: Robert Drake (no further info) had a son Francis Drake, born 1618 Devon, England (Please see Carolyn's posting) who married Mary Walker. Their son George is not listed further. My records indicate that George Drake was born 1650 in Portsmouth,Rockingham, New Hampshire. He died 1709 in Piscataway, Middlesex, New Jersey. He married Mary Oliver on 13 Nov 1677. Their daughter was Mercy Drake, born 1684, and died 1740 in Piscataway, Middlesex, New Jersey. She married Benjamin Stelle(born 1682, died 1759 in Piscataway) in 1708 in Piscataway, Middlesex, New Jersey. Their son was Isaac Steele, born 1718 in Piscataway. Isaac Married Christiana Clarkson(born 1721 in N.J and died 1782 in N.J.) on April 1740 in New Jersy. Their son was John Steele (1746-1788).
