Date: Wednesday, 25 November 1998 2:34 Hello all Drake families-- Since I am new to the list, I have been reading all of the posts and found them very interesting. I have not found anything on my Drake family though. My husband is Burton Drake--1944 Findlay, Ohio son of Harold Drake--1920 Bloomdale, Ohio son of Earl Edward Drake-1898 Bloomdale, Ohio son of John (Jay) J. Drake--1868 Bloomdale, Ohio son of Josiah Drake-1844-- Josiah also known as Joseph was married to Margaret Fry on 1/9/1865 and they were pioneer residents of Eagleville, Ohio. Josiah enlisted in Company B--111th O.V.I. commanded by General Isaac R. Sherwood. (General Sherwood represented Wood County, in congress.) Josiah and Margaret had children besides Jay. They were Luella Viola Delton Charles William Do any of these names sound familiar to any of you. I would like to go back farther than Josiah but I have not had any luck on the internet.
