My 2nd great grandmother was Sarah Jane Drake, born 4 Jul 1833,KY. She married Jesse Mineer 30 Jul 1851 in Lewis Co.,KY. Levi Drake signed the bond & stated he was her father. I never found him on the census with Sarah Jane as his daughter. She was living with her uncle Samuel Drake & Mary(Mineer) Drake in 1850, Lewis Co.,KY. Muhulda & Samuel were brother & sister.
I found marriage record for Jesse Mineer & Muhulda Drake in Lewis Co., 26 Apr 1850. In Lewis Co. will & estates John Drake inventory Nov 1839 Adm. Sarah Drake. On 25 May 1841 Sarah was to be guardian for Samuel & Mahala Drake heirs of John Drake.

Other heirs Wm. Drake, Levi Drake, Edward Collins, Abraham McCowan & wife Catherine & Susannah Drake.

If John Drake married Sarah Fitch 17 Jun 1806 Mason Co.,KY & I feel sure this is correct then I am all messed up on my family. My records show Muhulda born ca 1823 & Samuel born 1824. They would have been under age in 1841.

Am I mixing a whole generation here?? Can someone help me, please.
