Subject: [SCKY] CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THE NAMES ON THIS DEED?

I have a very poor and faint copy of a deed, dated October 1850, that
pertains to 115 acres of land on the Green River in Adair Co, KY. Some
of the names mentioned on this deed are William Atkinson, Thomas
Atkinson, several other Atkinsons I can't read, James Banks, and
Frances/Francis Banks. I think the land once belonged to Thomas Drake.
There may be other names in this deed that I can not decipher.

I believe that William J. Drake, the son-in-law of the deceased Mathew
Busby, was selling this land to the Atkinsons and Banks. I am
particularly interested in learning about James Banks and
Francis/Frances Banks because one of Mathew's daughters, Matilda,
married Martin W. Banks. She was my gg grandmother. Martin was the son
of Vandiver Banks and Elizabeth Wolford. I am desperate to find
documentation showing that Martin was most definitely Vandiver's son. If

anyone can shed any light on these families, please contact me.
