To my wife Elizabeth my mansion, Barton, And desmesnes of Yardbury, mesuage in Colyton called Luggeshayne, alias Luggeshayes and all plate And household goods I die possessed of on condition she gives them at her death or the value Thereof to my daughter Margarett. To the poor of Colyton 40 s. To my dear and loving mother, Margarett Argenton Widow a gold ring and to each of my four sisters Dorthie Westofer, Katharine Freke, Ann Partridge and Fraunces Edes, a mourning gown.
