My name is Jason. I have been researching my genealogy for 2 months, just beginning. I am a direct descendant of Francis Evans Cornish of london, canada. His father was William King Cornish of Devonshire, England. His father was Isaac Cornish of the same. This is where help of any kind would be appreciated. The mother of Isaac Cornish was Sir Francis Drake's sister. I do not have a name for this woman.

Sir Francis Drake, c. 1540 - 1596, did not have any sisters, although he did have either 10 or 11 brothers.
Was the mother of Isaac Cornish the sister of a subsequent Sir Francis Drake, an indirect descendent of the original Sir Francis, who died without issue?
