Can anyone give me any information on a Gertrude Drake who was possibly born around 1720 in Devon? On 6.2.1763 she married a William Spry at Buckland Monochorum and on 13.2.1763 there was a second ceremony at Mary Tavy.The Spry family seemed to alternate between Buckland Monochorum and Stoke Damerel but whether Gertrude came from either of these places I don't know as I can find no trace of her. I wondered if anyone had come across her during their own research. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you |

Today's deliberate mistake.....Gertrude was possibly born around 1740 and not 1720. Sorry!

There is a Gertrude Drake bapt 18/10/1716:
father was Francis and the place was Buckland Monochorum, Devon. |
