I'm looking for Jordan Drake and his brother Joel Drake in Highland and Warren Counties, Ohio. Jordan may have been from Southampton County, VA, and arrived in Highland County, Ohio about 1807. He relocated in Warren County in 1815. Jordan Drake had a daughter, Jane or Jincey, who married William Findley in Warren County in 1818. |

Hello H. Tomlinson, Jordan and Joel were two of seven children of John Drake (c.1695-1770) and his second wife Winnifred (unknown last name, but maybe Fairclothe). I have full information on their ancesters and kin back to when the first Drake of this family came to Jamestown, VA in 1658. I would have contacted you directly but you failed to leave your email address. Joe H. Drake Southampton County, Virginia |
