Hello found your name on Ancestry.com concerning the Drake website. I am trying to find information on the William L. Drake family from Cherryvale Kansas. Do you have any inquiries concerning this line? Thank you. Pat Williams at Vern0904@charter.net

Looking for relatives of E.C. Drake lived at R.F.D #2 Bethel, Wyandotte, Kansas. Employed a man named Sherman John Graves in 1898 as a farmer. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Paula,

Sherman Graves gave that address on his WW1 Draft card
around 1917 or 1918. He was living on the Drake farm
at the time of the 1920 Census in Praire TWP,
Wyandotte, KS. The name on that census was "Eliza
Drake." In 1930, the same man is called Elijah C.
Drake. On his draft card, he is called "Elijah Coleman
Drake." He was born 26 Aug 1873, in Arkansas. He was
in the same location in 1910 and had been married for
14 years.

Skipping to 1880, Elijah Coleman Drake was living in
the household of Elijah Drake, Jun. I think there is
at least one other person on this list who can tell
you much more about him. Let me know if I can help
further.

Good question! I'm pretty sure there is at least one
person on the Drake list researching Elijah Coleman
Drake. Perhaps she'll see this and post an answer. I
have to run now, but let me know if I can be of any
further help.
