I am looking for information on the tree of Eason
Drake who moved to East Texas Tyler County. Anything about his sons George Ransom and Julius N
Drake who both fought in the civil war Spaights Battalion.

Eason Drake is a brick wall on the internet. The links above are expired as of Oct. 2016. William Drake is supposed to be his grandfather and rumored to be his step grandfather. Milly (Emilia?) his Mother, William her father in law or step father. No hard information before this is available. All speculation. Any information would be appreciated! On a side note, the name "Eason has been handed down to myGrandfather, father and brother as a middle name and before finding Eason on this website, did not know that there was an actual Eason C Drake. Would love to know what the C stood for and to know what his lineage was. Where he came from and why he moved so much! Why'd he bring us here? Not that Tx isn't wonderful!
Would also like to know where he is buried. I think he is buried on private land in Tyler or Jasper. Would love to go and tend his grave. He is buried next to my great Uncle Lemuel Eason Drake, My Grandfather's Name Sake. My Cousin (See above) has done a lot of research on our family and I'd like to take up where he left off.
