Hello:
My father (James Lewis Drake II) was born to James Lewis Drake I and Ruby
Bernice Drake in Tennessee. My Grandparents traveled all over and my
grandfather had earned a purple heart in the war of which we have. My
Grandfather died when my dad was only 2 years old he was a engineer to the
ford plant in Michigan where he had died at the age of 46 of lung cancer in
Detroit Michigan. We know absolutely nothing about his family as my
grandfather was disowned after he married my grandmother.
My great Grandfather was named James B Drake married to Tommie Drake. they
only had 2 sons one of which is James Lewis Drake I. I believe the family
was either in Atlanta Georgia or Alabama.
We have also just found out the my Grandfather was married before and had a
daughter. She was 20 yrs older then my dad.
My dad did make contact with cousins he found in Georgia who would not help
us get any information. All we are seeking is our family history.
If you need more information as in dates etc...I can get it from my Mom. I
just need to know if you can help me get the family history that my Dad has
been seeking ALL his life.

Thank you very much. I am not sure if my Great Grandfather is in this link
or not. His name was James Braxton Drake.
