does anybody know what becameof williamjames drake after he arrived in spain?
did he settle there or come back to england? or america?

Drake.Todo lo que sé , es que era de nacionalidad norteamericano, y que
llegó a Argentina a fines del siglo 18, alrededor de 1795, y que contrajo
matrimonio con Antonia Cabral ( Uruguaya).Toda la descendencia de este
matrimonio está plenamente acreditada en nuestro ärbol genealógico. De lo
que no tengo información es de sus antecedentes en U.S.A..Creemos que es
posible de que partiera hacia Argentina desde Boston , pero esto es solo
supuesto.
Mucho le agradecería si Ud. pudiera aportarme alguna información al
respecto.Si así no fuera quedo con Ud. muy agradecido.

interesting. it appears that gabriel drake (mentioned by enrique) might have been a priest. It looks like he was a good catholic boy and fathered quite a few offspring on his travels.
