Please brief me as I have the following information with no proof of these tells passed down for generations , that noone has studied to confirm.
My gmother was Mary Drake ( died in San Antonio Texas 1980 I believe ) her sister Ethyl Drake Shaeffer of California is still alive and has a brother John Drake in Houston. I've been told that we're related to Sir Francis Drake but I have no proof. I had an uncle who I'm told was named after Drake , by his mother Mary Drake Pulliam. She named her son ( my uncle ) Lewis Francis Pulliam.
I was told that my gmother Mary Drake and her sister Ethyl Drake originated from Lousianna,Can anyone confirm any of this on any of their studies ?
