Hello,
I am searching for any family information, ie: parents, siblings, etc., for my G-G-Grandmother, Rachel or Rachael R. Drake. I have been told she was born in New York City sometime between 1827 and 1830. Rachel married Francis J. Corner and they issued 2 sons in NYC, Francis H. Corner and Benjamin Corner. The family moved to Michigan and then to Illinois, where Francis J. and Rachel issued 2 daughters, Arvilla Elizabeth Corner (my G-Grandmother) and Sarah Corner.
The family moved to the Newton County, Missouri area and Arvilla Elizabeth married Richard Braxton Stansbery in 1873, Granby, Newton County, Missouri.
Francis J. Corner, daughter Arvilla Elizabeth, sons Francis H. and Benjamin, are all buried in the family cemetery (Powers) between Diamond and Ritchey, Newton County, Missouri.
I have not been able to place my Rachel R. Drake with any Drake family to date, and would really appreciate any help in this area.
