Hello fellow Drakes,
My name is Deonne Drake and I am seeking information regarding the Drake's of Cass County Texas. I believe my great great grandfather's name was Wade. Wade was from Mississippi. I am not sure, but it appears he fathered a child (George) with Sallie Hancock. Sallie was born in TN. Wade was black and Sallie was white(or she was fair enough to pass for white) My great grandfather's name was George. He was mulatto. Wade and Sallie's parents were from NC.
If anyone has any info on Sallie Hancock, I will really appreciate it. |
