My husbands grandfather was the famous steel guitar player Pete Drake. My mother-in-law did not know he was her father until she was 15. I would like to surprise her with any pictures or info anyone can pass on. Thanks so much.

Hi anonymous ( strange name?). If you put "Peter Drake" into Yahoo or Google you will find plenty of Peter Drakes.

I am sure you will never come back to this seeing that it was 4 years ago since your post, but if you or anybody needs info or has info please email me at chrisrjdrake@comcast.net. My Grandfather and Pete were brothers. My grandfather was Joseph John William Drake, or Bill Drake as most know him. They also had a brother Jack. Please email me..anyone... I was able to email William and connect with family I have never met, hope to do so again.
