The census of 1880 (Ohio, Union County) Has Samuel born in 1823, Elizabeth in 1836. They owned and operated the Drake House in Magnatic Springs, Ohio. One of their Children was my G grandfather; Charles H. Drake b. 11May1859 at West Jefferson, Ohio. d.21 March 1923 bp. Plain City, Ohio. He married Fannie Aretha Beaver 30June 1887. They had seven children: Iona May m. Conrad McKinney ( my adoptive parents) Clarence, Anna Drake Farris, Albert Leo (My natural grandfather),Marvel Drake Sines, Reed McDonald Drake and Floyd who died at birth. I would appricate any help in finding the parents of Samuel and Elizabeth Drake and any othe information about this line of Drakes. Thank you, |
