G'day,
i'm looking for a John Drake b:approx 1834 immigrated to Australia, Tasmania, 1854, was a blacksmith and i have been told was a native of Norfolk. Any sort of info would be of great help.

Don't know if this is any help.
I have no information before the following:
Chris: My records show Captain Spencer French Drake 1820 - 1885 who moved to South Africa. First Wife married 1842 - Mary Elizabeth who died in 1852. Second wife: Married Eliza Gillett in 1853 - she died in 1916. Their 2nd son: Leonard French born 1806 who married M. Elizabeth Davidson. |
