Hi, the ruby snuff box and jewelled sword given to Francis Drake by Queen Elizabeth I were in my family until c.1900 when they were sold. They came down the Paget line to Btn.Cmdr. Thomas Constant Paget Moreton. Moreton's daughter, Maria Chappell married Patrick Heron Henderson (a Scottish surveyor in Australia). Patrick was my great, great grandfather. My grandmother saw these items and described them to me as quite stunning.
