I am in search of information on Sir Francis Drake. Most of the websites that I have visited have been based on his journey, what I am looking for is his childhood years. (where he went to school, and is the Drake High School named after him?) Maybe you could help me out? Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my request.

Hi there Tami and thanks for your message re the Admiral.
The sad think about Sir Francis Drake is that not only is nothing known of his
early days, know body actually knows his birth date. I would say that the Drake high school
is named after him - he did a lot of explorations along the USA pacific coastline,
