Benjamin Drake died 8 Feb.1902 in Independence,Jackson Co.,MO.He was born in Monroe Co.,OH. the s/o Thomas Drake & Hannah Browning. He was born in 1838. He married Sarah Underwood on 4 March 1867 in Graysville,Monroe Co.,OH. Sarah was the d/o Mordecci & Deborah Underwood. Ben & Sarah's children were: John W.,Mordecci P.,Reuben O.,William S.,Susan E.J.,Ella C.Josephine,George J. & Joseph B.Drake.
In the 1900 census Ben & Sarah Drake were living in Boone Co.,AR. without their children.
Benjamin Drake was a brother to my 2xgreat-grandfather,Thomas Carter Drake.
