Thought I had a somewhat clear line on Abijah Drake, but now I am in doubt.
Ihave Abijah Drake b abt 1735 Taunton, Bristol, MA d April 7, 1819; m Tabitha Plumley b abt 1739 Taunton, Bristol, MA. Second wife Delight Sprague b abt 1773 Hartford, Windsor, VT m January 22, 1809 Hartford, VT.
Children:
l. Seth Drake b June 28,1754
2. Francis Drake b abt 1761
3. Abijah Drake b abt 1765
4. Paul Drake b abt 1767
5. Phebe Drake b April 11,1770

Here, I find 856 JOSEPH DRAKE and 857 THANKFUL PRATT as being the parents of the above children.
Could this be the reason that no one has found the parents of Abijah Drake b abt 1735?
