Hello
I saw your forum for the Drake family lineage. I thought would give you my family (or some of it that I have) to add.
My great grandfather was Jake Drake and he was born in 1878 in Nolanville Texas he died in 1961 in Belton Texas
He married but sadly I do not know her name as she died long before I was born in 1963. I know they had only one son (my grandfather)
James William Nathan Drake (born April 4, 1911 died May 28, 1998 in Belton Texas)
He married Early Merle Pritchett (born in Johnson City Texas November 14, 1919 died December 20, 1990) they were married December 23, 1940 and lived in Nolanville Texas until they moved to Moffat Texas in the 1950s then to Belton Texas in 1973). They had 5 children..
James Roy Drake born October(?) 1941 died 1988 (he had 2 children .. Roy Lee Drake 1965 and Annette Drake 1969)
Darrell Joseph Drake (born 1944- still alive living in Ft.Worth Texas he has one son Joseph Robert Drake...1969 living in Austin Texas)
Shirley Ruth Drake (my mother).. born in Nolanville Texas November 17, 1946 died August 8, 2003 Belton Texas). She married John Henry Griffith (born January 17, 1940 in Gore OK, died October 27, 2011 Belton Texas) She had a son (me) and daughter(Julia Diane Griffith...born June 19, 1966 Salisaw OK)
Jackie Drake (born September 4, 1952 living in Indiana and he has 8 children).
I hope these help some. I have my lineage as well of my children (all last name Griffith)
If there are any you seen that I did not see that are related to me (did not see any from Belton or Nolanville Texas) please let me know..
