Greetings from New Zealand.
My ancestors were Benjamin DRAKE and Jane MILLER
(great-great-grandparents) and my understanding is that they lived and
worked on Littlewood Farm, Frampton, Dorset, UK.
They had 5 children ... William, Martha, Ann, Abraham (my
great-grandfather) and Elizabeth. Elizabeth was a witness at the
wedding of Abraham to Lousa NEVILL(E) in London in February 1876. He
and Louisa came to NZ ... she travelled on the DUNBRITTON and arrived in
Wellington on the 4th of August, but I have never been able to find how
Abraham came to NZ and wondered perhaps if he came as "crew" on a ship,
as he does not appear on any of the passenger lists.
I would be interested to hear if anyone has information on any of
Abrahamn's siblings please.
