Hello Mr Andrews,
I recently found some of my mothers Drake family info. I was trying to get some more info on her family beyond my great grandfather. I have been told we are in line somewhere with Francis Drake,,, but dont see it anywhere on the info in your site.
My great-grandfather came to Ohio by way of Canada from England. His name was Joseph Able Drake and he was married to Elizabeth Ann Gray. This probably would have been in the late 1800's. They had 7 children.
Florence (Flo) deceased at 17.
Authur--married, no children died about 1956 or 57.
Helen (Rabe/ Forster ) married --2 children (deceased)
Edwin Murfey no children (deceased)
Etta Luella (Smith) 2 children (deceased)
Marie deceased at 13
Irene Mary (Speegle) --my grandmother Born in Akron, Ohio 10 children
Am hoping some of your research may show us some interesting things
in the past.
