I am seeking information regarding Solomon Drake. My grand father was Cloyce A. Drake. He was adopted by Solomon and Cora in 1916. His name prior to this adoption was also Cloyce A. drake. I am seeking information as to the possibility that Cloyce was some how mabye the child of another Drake reletive. Also, Solomon had an infant child that died and is barried in Salem Oregon next to Solomon Cora, and Cloyces plot.
Also, Cora died 6 years after this adoption of Cloyce, Solomon died 12 years later. So, where did Cloyce go at age 12?? Is there another family member in Oregon that took him in?? |

My name is Saundra Drake. I was born 3/15/54. My father's name was Donald Raymond Drake and he died in WA State. His mother lived in Oregon somewhere and I don't remember her name, only met her as a child. My father's, father, Roy Drake who was in Seattle WA but I think died in the last decade. I am the last Drake alive as far as I know and I'm searching for any relatives. My father and grandfather had olive skin with very black hair, unlikely British, maybe adoption?
