I am looking for any information on my fathers side of the family. His name was Leroy Drake according to US Navy but he signed his name as Lee Roy Drake .Served in WW2 and Korea and was from Georgia. He married my mother lorraine in 1952 in Oakland Cal at Sacred Heart Church ans was aboard the Uss Oriskany at Alameda Naval Air Station in 1956 or so when they divorced, I would Like to find my family roots on my fathers side as I know nothing else except he was yall with wavy blond hair and blue eyes. My mother died when i was 5 and so i never knew him as iwas adopted by my maternal grandparents, Can anyone help?
